Fifty metres from the Thong Lo stairs, Pretty Massage is about as close to a BTS exit as a nuru shop gets. Its rate card is straightforward: ฿2,000 for 40 minutes, ฿2,500 for 90, and two hours for ฿2,900, which is good value for Thonglor.

It suits someone who wants a long session at a modest price and is willing to book ahead to get a choice. Staff are listed as speaking English, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Skip it if the room matters: several reviewers call the rooms old or dated. Bring cash or a Thai banking app, since cards aren't accepted.

According to its website, Pretty Massage uses premium nuru gel imported from Japan. Every room is air-conditioned with its own shower. The standard room costs nothing extra. The VIP room, with a bathtub, a large bed and a mirror, adds ฿300.

Reviewers fill in the rest of the picture. One says the room was small but the mirror huge; others call the rooms a bit old. Two reviewers advise booking ahead, one saying there may be no one free on the day, and another found only about three therapists to choose from.

That 120-minute incall price is one of the lowest on Sukhumvit for two hours. The under ฿2,500 list compares the shorter sessions with other cheap doors.

One name dominates: Aiko is praised in around ten reviews, for her kindness, her smile and, in one, her fluent English. Kitty, Pinky and, more recently, Bovie also draw repeat praise. A couple of reviewers mention friendly staff, and one says the therapists look like their photos.

The complaints are about effort and the rooms. Two reviewers describe a therapist who seemed tired, distracted or uninterested, and one says a 90-minute session ended after an hour. Another says they got a normal massage rather than the nuru they expected. More than one calls the rooms old or dated. Booking ahead, as two reviewers advise, seems the surest way to get the therapist you want.
