North of the centre, where Lat Phrao and Ratchada cross, Pancake Spa keeps a short card and long hours. Aroma massage costs ฿2,000 for an hour or ฿2,500 for 90 minutes, and the door stays open until two.

It suits someone living or staying up the Blue Line who wants a late session without riding into Sukhumvit. The discounts are a small bonus: 10% in your birthday month, ฿100 each when two book together. Skip it if you want the price on the card to be the whole price. A recurring theme in the reviews is being asked for more money once the session has begun.

According to its website, Pancake Spa is one of seven Sweet Rooms branches across Bangkok. The site describes its rooms as being for gentlemen, with "special care". Beyond that, the service on the card is aroma oil massage, with a whirlpool jacuzzi offered as an add-on.

The group's website says the jacuzzi is only available at some branches, and doesn't say which. Check with the shop that this branch has one before you plan around it. Walk-ins are accepted, and payment is cash.

Prices are from the venue's own published rate card:

The extra half-hour costs ฿500, which makes the 90-minute session the better value per minute. The website lists three discounts: 5% off your next visit for a Google Maps review, 10% in your birthday month if you show ID, and ฿100 off per person when two book together.

The card isn't necessarily the final bill. Several Google reviewers describe being asked for extra money or tips during or after the session, and one says a second charge equal to the first was requested. LINE is the only published booking channel, and walk-ins are taken. Bring cash: it's the only payment method listed. If you're coming with a friend, book as a pair to get the ฿100 discount each.

The listing places it on Lat Phrao 23 Alley, Chan Kasem, Chatuchak. MRT Lat Phrao is about 320 metres away, roughly a five-minute walk; the listing also places a stop called Ratchada-Lat Phrao 150 metres off. MRT Ratchadaphisek is about a kilometre south, around 16 minutes on foot.

Pancake Spa opens at 12:00 and closes at 02:00, every day. The MRT stops around midnight, so a late session ends with a taxi. Other shops nearby are on the Lat Phrao district page, and the late-night list covers doors open past the last train.

Pancake Spa holds a 4.2 Google rating from 23 reviews, spread over eight years. Most are five stars, with a few ones.

On the positive side, Google reviewers often mention friendly, lovely staff and good service. A couple describe the place as clean and relaxing, and one first-timer says they enjoyed it enough to add an extra half-hour.

Money is the sore point. Three reviewers describe requests for more cash during or after a session: one says a further ฿2,000 was asked for and a discount was refused, another that the therapist asked for an extra tip, and a third, writing positively, that extras cost more baht. Two older reviews say the session felt rushed. Read the rate card as the starting price, not the total.
