A bar first, with private rooms behind it: Wood Bar sits on Soi 7/1, a minute from the Nana Skytrain. Its card has two lines: an 'Easy' therapist at ฿800 and a 'VIP' therapist in evening dress at ฿1,000. Long-time reviewers say it has been on this soi since at least 2015, under another name.

It suits a reader who wants a quick, walk-in, low-cost visit near the Nana end of Sukhumvit, and who likes to sit with a drink and look before deciding. Skip it if you want a massage in any spa sense, or a long session: the card gives no durations. A few reviewers also say the lineup skews older than it used to.

The address is 131 31 Sukhumvit 7/1 Alley, Khlong Toei Nuea, Watthana. According to its website, the staff work in two tiers, 'Nurses' and 'Consultants', told apart by their clothes, and there are more than 30 on each shift. Google reviewers often mention a large choice of staff, many of them known by number. One describes taking a non-alcoholic drink for ฿80 in the lounge, with no pressure to hurry, and a friendly papasan; another mentions a well-liked mama-san.

Walk-ins are accepted. No booking channel is listed, though one reviewer says the shop answered their questions quickly months before their trip. The website also offers a take-out service, running until after breakfast the next day, with the price on request.

BTS Nana is about 80 metres away; the website calls it a 30-second walk. BTS Asok and MRT Sukhumvit are both about 11 minutes on foot.

They describe a friendly, relaxed hall, with no pressure and a mama-san or papasan who helps first-timers choose. And they call the pricing fair and clear, quoting ฿800 or ฿1,000.

The complaints are fewer. A couple of reviewers say the selection isn't the youngest or the prettiest, and one adds that it varies with the time of day. One four-star reviewer says the weaker baht makes it less of a bargain than it was. A one-star reviewer says prices have gone up and the session was cut shorter than on earlier visits.
