The Great

The Great keeps a low profile. An older Google review says the sign outside advertises hair washing and nails, and that the entrance is round the side. It publishes no prices and no booking channel; an adult massage directory, Mango Massage Bangkok, is where its listing points.

It suits someone around Rama 9 or Phetchaburi in the daytime or early evening who is happy to ask the price at the counter. Skip it if you want a late door, since it shuts at 22:00, or a menu you can read before you go.

The address is 278/36 Asok-Din Daeng Road, Bangkok 10310. No services, rooms, languages or payment methods are published. The one detailed review is six years old: it says the sign out front reads 'Hair Washing & Nail Salon', the entrance is at the side, and the atmosphere is a little dark. Things may have changed since. Two other reviewers mention being able to choose a therapist and friendly staff.

No prices are published anywhere we could find. Ask for the menu at the door, and agree the price, the session and any extras before you start. Reviewers give only rough guides: one, three years ago, says between ฿2,000 and ฿3,000, and the six-year-old review lists courses at ฿1,600, ฿2,100 and ฿3,000. Neither is a rate card. MRT Phra Ram 9 is about 420 m away, a seven-minute walk. ARL Makkasan and MRT Phetchaburi are each about nine minutes on foot. No booking channel is published, and one reviewer has asked for a LINE ID without a public answer, so plan on walking in. The door closes at 22:00, leaving plenty of time for the last train. The Great holds a 4.2 Google rating from 29 reviews, but only a handful have text, and most of those are several years old.

The common thread is value and choice. Reviewers describe the prices as reasonable or not expensive, and two mention being able to choose a therapist. The staff are described as friendly, and one recent reviewer says the receptionist's suggestion led to good service.

The only reservations come from the oldest detailed review, which found the shop's front confusing, with a hair-and-nails sign, a side entrance and a slightly dark atmosphere. With so few recent reviews, the current picture is thin.
