Butterfly Massage

On paper, Butterfly has two strong cards to play: a door two minutes from BTS Phrom Phong, and a rate card that starts at ฿1,600 for an hour. Its own website describes it as an adult erotic massage shop, open since December 2022.

The reviews are the problem. Butterfly holds a 1.6 Google rating from seven reviews, and the complaints are specific and repeated: sessions ended well short of the time paid for, and one bill came in ฿500 above the card. It suits only a careful buyer who settles the price, the extras and the minutes in writing before paying. Anyone else has plenty of alternatives within a few minutes' walk, mapped on the Phrom Phong district page.

The card is built in layers. At the bottom are the Package Set Menu B lines: oil, aroma or nuru gel massage, each with body to body, for an hour. Above them sit the special packages in Thai, oil, aroma and nuru gel, at 60 or 90 minutes. Then come two VIP rooms, a bathroom (room B) and a jacuzzi room (room A), and finally a run of outcall lines.

The listing gives Japanese and English as languages spoken. Contact is by phone, LINE and email, according to the website. The website has a price page, but it lists no prices, so the card below is the only published set of figures.

The card is not the whole bill, on one reviewer's account. They booked the 90-minute nuru session listed at ฿3,700 and were charged ฿4,200, the extra ฿500 put down to the 'model'. No such fee is on the card. Ask about every surcharge before you agree, and book on LINE so the price is in writing.

Google gives the address as 3/1 Sukhumvit Road, Khlong Tan; the website places the shop on Sukhumvit Soi 24. BTS Phrom Phong is 110 metres away, about two minutes on foot. BTS Thong Lo is about 19 minutes and MRT Queen Sirikit National Convention Center about 21.

Opening hours aren't published anywhere we could find. Message on LINE before you set out, and ask the closing time while you are at it.

The location and the low opening price will tempt anyone stepping off the train at Phrom Phong. The risk is in the clock. Three separate reviewers say their session ran short: by five minutes, by 20, and in one case to 45 minutes of a paid 90. Note the start time, agree the length out loud, and don't pay for extras you didn't ask for.

Butterfly Massage holds a 1.6 Google rating from 7 reviews, six of them one star. The clearest pattern is time: three reviewers say they were given less than they paid for, one losing five minutes, one getting 40 of 60, and one leaving after 45 of 90. One reviewer was charged ฿500 above the listed price for a 'model' fee that wasn't mentioned in advance. Another describes a disinterested therapist, and two simply say to go elsewhere.

The one five-star review, three weeks old, comes from a reviewer who says they have been three times and found the service good every time. One critic concedes the therapists are young but says the nuru skills lag behind older shops on Soi 33. Read the pattern before you book.
